This is the next evolution in your firearms training career from the Handgun Intro class. This class targets the student that feels they have successfully grasped and ingrained the basic fundamentals and safety of the handgun and wants to take their training to the next level. Unlike the Handgun Intro class we will focus more on shooting less on classroom lecture while still keeping an eye on the student to make sure the basics and safety arent being ignored. We will introduce a new element of speed while striving to maintain accuracy which will put more stress on the student. We will also introduce timed drills which again places a new level of stress on the student. Balancing these fundamentals will be the challenge to this class but will ultimately take your training to a completely new level. We will explore various psychological aspects of shooting along with self-awareness and your surroundings.
[This class is designed for the student who has completed a basic firearm fundamental training course with HCI or a reputable training organization with similar standards. If you have neither, e-mail HCI with your firearms experience and training history so we may make an exception.]
